Company specialist permit: definition and requirements
A company specialist permit is a work permit granted to employees with a company and job specific knowledge. A university degree is not necessarily required in this case.
The main requirements for a company specialist permit are that:
- the employee is being offered a German employment contract;
- he carries a very detailed and job specific knowledge and
- that this specific knowledge is reflecting in the employee's salary (which therefore needs to be ca. 10 % higher than the standard salary in the same field).
