What types of visas exist for non-EU-nationals?
EU foreigners who aim to work in Germany or in other EU Countries often have to deal with the difficult decision of which type of visa they have to apply for. The followin article offers an overview of the different possibilities.
Firstly, you need to define the time frame during which you intend to stay in Germany:
- 0 - 3 months;
- 3 - 6 months.
Secondly, you need to define the reason of your visit:
- Training;
- Business meeting;
- Project less than 6 months;
- Project greater than 6 months;
- Long term assignment.
