A "Mobiler ICT Card" is a work Permit which entitles an employee, who is holding a work permit for one EU Member State, to stay and work in another Member State.
The following are the requirements to obtain an ICT Mobiler Card for Germany:
- Employee to already hod and ICT card of one EU Member State;
- Employee to be in a leading position, a specialist or a Trainee;
- Employee's main work location to remain in the other EU Member State;
- Duration of the stay in Germany between 90 and 180 days;
- Approval of the BfA to be collected.
Please note that in most cases, no additinal work permit is required if the stay is limited to 90 days. However, the employee usually needs to be registered by the receiving company.
