Which countries are excluded from dual citizenship?

According to the new German Naturalization Act, dual citizenship is now possible for citizens of most countries. Only in rare cases, the country of origin does not permit this. The below shown the current situation for citizens from some countries:

No, India does not allow dual citizenship. In case you obtain the German citizenship which is possible, you have to renounce to your Indian citizenship immediately afterwards

Ukraine

The German Federal Ministry of the Interior has clarified that Ukraine does not currently process applications for renunciation of nationality or multiple citizenship and therefore German naturalization can take place without the involvement of the Ukrainian authorities. Accordingly, the Ukrainian authorities are currently not informed of an application for naturalization in Germany. Applications for denaturalization by Ukrainians, for example to avoid military service, are not processed by the Ukrainian authorities.
